Valentine’s Rice Krispie Treats | FairfieldMoms

A fun & easy treat to make with your little ones this Valentine’s Day!  You could even make these into mini hearts with a smaller cookie cutter and use as Valentine’s treats for their classmates!

Rice Krispie Treats

Whip up a batch of rice krispie treats and cut into heart shapes

Ideas you can add:

  • Candy melts (red, pink or white) and dip in half of the treat
  • Heart shaped sprinkles
  • Valentine’s M&Ms
  • Mini pink marshmallows

Valentine’s M&Ms and heart sprinkles!

  1. Make a full pan of Rice Krispie treats
  2. Once you’ve partially mixed together the melted marshmallows with the Rice Krispies cereal, stir in the M&M’s candies and finish mixing everything together.
  3. Spread the Rice Krispies treats mixture into a pan.
  4. Immediately sprinkle on Valentine heart shaped sprinkles, so they’ll stick to the still warm marshmallow treats.
  5. Cut heart shaped Rice Krispie treats with a heart shaped cookie cutter.  Work your way around the edge, then in toward the middle.
  6. And that’s it. They’re ready to serve and enjoy!
