A fun & easy treat to make with your little ones this Valentine’s Day! You could even make these into mini hearts with a smaller cookie cutter and use as Valentine’s treats for their classmates!
Rice Krispie Treats
Whip up a batch of rice krispie treats and cut into heart shapes
Ideas you can add:
- Candy melts (red, pink or white) and dip in half of the treat
- Heart shaped sprinkles
- Valentine’s M&Ms
- Mini pink marshmallows
Valentine’s M&Ms and heart sprinkles!
- Make a full pan of Rice Krispie treats
- Once you’ve partially mixed together the melted marshmallows with the Rice Krispies cereal, stir in the M&M’s candies and finish mixing everything together.
- Spread the Rice Krispies treats mixture into a pan.
- Immediately sprinkle on Valentine heart shaped sprinkles, so they’ll stick to the still warm marshmallow treats.
- Cut heart shaped Rice Krispie treats with a heart shaped cookie cutter. Work your way around the edge, then in toward the middle.
- And that’s it. They’re ready to serve and enjoy!
Valentine’s dipped in candy melt
- Make a full pan of Rice Krispie treats
- Spread the Rice Krispies treats mixture into a pan.
- Cut heart shaped Rice Krispie treats with a heart shaped cookie cutter. Work your way around the edge, then in toward the middle.
- Carefully dip half of the Rice Krispie treat into the candy melt. **If you want to add another drizzle, wait till the first coat dries completely.
- Store in freezer for 20 minutes for candy to set.
- Enjoy!
