Is Your Child Struggling to Learn How to Read? As a K-3, SPECIAL EDUCATION public school teacher for 30 years, I have worked with children identified with learning disabilities, dyslexia, autism, language impairments, and ADD/ADHD. For struggling readers and Special Education students, I often incorporate the Preventing Academic Failure program into tutoring sessions. PAF is a multi-sensory, explicit phonics program which has made a huge difference for many children. Establishing a warm rapport, helping children to build a foundation of skills, and ensuring fun sessions are my priorities. Flexible tutoring sessions available throughout the week to best meet your child’s schedule. Certified with a Bachelor’s and Master’s in Special Education.
