The best thing we can practice right now is SOCIAL DISTANCING. With schools closed, and e-learning beginning next week for Fairfield Public Schools for the next few weeks, we thought it would be helpful to share some ideas on how to keep your kids occupied, especially if you are a parent that has to juggle kids & work!
Enjoy “Theme Days”
Have Christmas in March, pretend it’s your kid’s birthday, wrap things up around the house and let them unwrap a “‘present”, and make cupcakes. Follow up with a costume party to celebrate Halloween, or a Frozen party (Frozen 2 starts streaming on Disney + tomorrow 3/15)! Get creative!
Follow @yearcheer – a specialty Holiday Subscription box designed to help busy moms decorate, connect and have fun celebrating the holidays through the year! Just in time for St. Patrick’s Day next week!
Get Outside!
Take a walk around your neighborhood or play in your backyard.
Make a scavenger hunt for the kids! Some ideas here!
Take out the chalk!
Make an obstacle course in your backyard!
