PopShop Market this Sunday June 9th | FairfieldMoms
We are all about shopping local in Fairfield and visiting the PopShop on Sunday is the same idea. Come by to shop local vendors. Doors open at 10 and it is free to get in! Come hungry because there are some great Food Trucks as well!

Its supposed to be a beautiful weekend so we hope to see you there!

PopShop Market is getting ready to move back into the FTC Warehouse for its sixth annual summer kick-off event on Sunday, June 9 from 10 am – 3 pm. Admission is free and the first 100 shoppers will receive a branded PopShop Market reusable shopping bag.

This year, more than 50 vendors will flood the FTC parking lot and two floors of the Warehouse, including artists, bakers, boutique owners, designers, entrepreneurs, food trucks, jewelry makers and even goats! Shop for one-of-a-kind gifts all in one beautiful indoor-outdoor location.

“We love bringing on new vendors as much as we love catching up with returning brands,” said Ashley Kane Daley, co-founder, PopShop Market. “It’s amazing to see how this amazing community supports one other.”

Many of PopShop’s vendors are small, local businesses without traditional storefronts. All brands must submit an application to participate as a vendor and are then carefully vetted to ensure minimal overlap in mission and product offering. The end goal is to provide vendors with a fun accessible venue to market their brand, while providing patrons with a highly curated selection of pop-up shops.

“This year we’re hosting returning vendors — some of whom got their start here — alongside local boutiques that requested to pop-up at our event,” explained Andrea Espach, co-founder, PopShop Market. “It’s fun to see everyone getting in on the fun —especially since downtown Fairfield has so much to offer!”

Vendors Near and Far Come to Fairfield

While many of PopShop’s vendors hail from Connecticut, the June event welcomes several out-of-state brands, including Sunswell (Sag Harbor), Ebb & Flow (Brooklyn), Jessica Ricci (Providence) and Fair Harbor (Manhattan).

Show off your 203 pride with an iconic baseball cap or t-shirt from The Two Oh Three. Look out for Tory and Roscoe’s brand new van full of fresh summer gear, lawn games and koozies galore.

Art lovers will enjoy beautiful watercolor prints by Snoogs & Wilde, sold on popular Web site Furbish Design, along with stunning abstract works by Westport artist Puja Pattni, as seen in Tusk Home + Design.

Popular local boutiques including Penfield Collective (Fairfield) and Pink Lemon Blue Lime (Westport) will be setting up shop too, bringing a selection of best selling styles to get you through the season, while Bel Mondo (Westport) will showcase a seasonal selection of home furnishings and accessories.

Fuel Up While You Shop

There will be plenty of opportunities to fuel up before, during and after shopping. As always, some of the area’s best food trucks will be parked onsite for the day, including Source Coffee Truck, a mobile coffee and espresso bar, M & M Steaks, authentic Philly cheesesteaks in CT, and Fire & Rice, known for its signature paella. Park City Pies will also be on hand with homemade treats — including everything from empanadas to granola.

Once you’ve had your fill of shopping, take a break and relax with a drink thanks to the full bar inside, or sample signature cocktails by Teroforma, a Connecticut brand known for its 1 pt craft cocktail infusions. Stroll into neighboring boutiques like The Beehive, The Perfect Pair, La Moda, Saltwater, Snappy Gator, Swim N Surf and more! Of course, don’t forget to visit the adorable goats from Guardian Farms on your way out.
