Introducing Merkaz Westport!
Merkaz Community High School for Judaic Studies is coming to Westport this Fall! Give your teen the gift of Jewish community with fun classes and time to see old friends and make new ones. Merkaz is a weekly educational program open to all Jewish Teens grades 8-12.
Merkaz is truly the place to be for Jewish teens throughout Fairfield County. Each week, students from numerous high schools and local congregations join together as one community to learn, socialize, explore and strengthen their Jewish identity. For the past 42 years, Merkaz has thrived in the Greater Bridgeport area, and for the first time, Merkaz will be opening a campus in Westport.
Merkaz offers exciting courses with something for everyone. Merkaz gives students a leg-up in preparing for college by offering courses taught by professional college counselors for juniors and seniors. Meet our amazing teachers, who are dedicated to providing classes that are fun and rewarding. Renew old friendships and make new ones. Explore our rich heritage and culture in the warm and inviting environment you’ll experience at Merkaz.

Starting this fall, Merkaz will meet on Monday evenings in Westport and Tuesday evenings in Bridgeport from 7:00-9:00 PM.
