It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas…well maybe not the snowy weather yet, but our local businesses are booking up for their Holiday Wreath making classes and we wanted to share a few of them with you! Grab your friends and family or head solo to one of these locations to create a one-of-a-kind centerpiece or wreath to display in your home this Holiday season!

From snowberries to pine cones…finishing off with a bow of your choice, join us for an exclusive experience. Throughout the workshop, we will teach you step by step how to decorate your beautiful wreath and tie the perfect bow, all while sharing our top styling tips and tricks.

Wreath Making Workshop: Celebrate the holiday season with this creative workshop! The Bartlett’s Education Director, Mike Belletzkie, will teach you how to make a beautiful, long-lasting wreath to adorn your front door or the side of your home. The Bartlett will provide the frame, instruction, and a huge variety of evergreens, cones, berries, and ribbon – feel free to bring any other elements you like! Please bring your own pruners and gloves.

Wreath Decorating Class: Join us for a fun Holiday Shopping and Wreath Decorating Night! Get creative with Red Flower Truck and decorate your own wreath! We supply all the tools and materials to design a stunning wreath. Also included in the ticket price is beverages from Coalhouse Pizza and light bites from Blonde & Board and Cretzel’s. Get your holiday shopping done and support local!

Thanksgiving Centerpiece Workshop: Katelyn of Rustle Floral Co. will show you how to make a Thanksgiving centerpiece using flowers in our sugar pumpkins. The dates for this event are Monday, November 22nd from 5:30 to 7:00 p.m. and Tuesday, November 23rd from 5:30 to 7:00 p.m. There are also take home kits available, including a video tutorial, if you wish to complete the project at home. Hosted by local artisan crafter Molly Warden, you’ll learn step by step how to create a beautiful holiday decoration using locally sourced greenery & cuttings to take home an proudly display the entire holiday season! DESIGN & UNWIND: Wreath Making: Come out for a fun evening at the NIA. Design & Unwind while making FRESH holiday wreaths under the instruction of Trumbull Resident Jaimee Smith-Solomon. Jaimee will instruct you on how to create a wonderful wreath that is perfect for the holidays! You will be provided materials to decorate the wreath. At the end of the class you will be able to take home your very own wreath.

We’ll get the fire cracking and the music cranking. You choose your 24” balsam wreath and we’ll provide decorating materials. Food and drink are permitted and are up to you!
