Easton Country Day School Holds 1st Annual Memorial Field Day | FairfieldMoms
On Thursday May 5th the Easton Country Day School Community came together to celebrate and honor our beloved teacher, gone too soon, Mr. Nathan Kelly.  Someone once said, “Life is about celebrating uniqueness, diversity, and then bringing it all together like the varied colors of a rainbow. Different yet connected.” Mr. Nate stood for many things, but most of all he showed the importance of accepting and embracing your individuality. He always encouraged others to be the BEST version of themselves as they could possibly be.

We had our first annual Field Day in Honor of Nate Kelly in the morning, which consisted of our entire school being divided into 10 different colored teams with children ranging from kindergarten to 8th grade on each team. The purpose of this day was focused on building community, making new friends, and celebrating and remembering the joy, compassion, and understanding of Mr. Nate.

We rounded out the day with a Memorial Teacher vs. Teacher slow pitch softball game, and finished with ice cream. It was a beautiful day in his honor, and only could have been made better if he were there with us.

Easton Country Day School is now accepting applicants for the 2022/2023 school year. For more information, call (203) 268-5530 for K-12th and  (203) 268-5073 for Preschool or go online to EastonCountryDay.org
