Blueberry Season at Silverman’s Farm! | FairfieldMoms

Today we took the kids to Silvermine’s Farm for Blueberry Picking! We started early to get it done before the rain started so we got there around opening time – they open at 9am. The blueberry picking, the farm and the store is open 7 days a week from 9-5pm.

Parking was right in front of the blueberry picking area, so as you are heading to Silvermine’s make a left on Center Street, go up Center Street and follow the signs for Blueberry Picking, park right there. You do not need reservations and have to wear masks when on line and if around anyone. It was pretty empty at opening time, and cooler then it has been! It is $6 a basket and all kids 3 and up need a basket. They lead you where to go and have so many blueberries! They are not running out any time soon!  They also give you a ticket for free animal food at the farm for when you are done. Near the farm is where raspberry picking is, so we’ll do that soon!

We got a ton of blueberries, and of course recipes are coming next week! We enjoyed the very organized farm and the little shop is open for fruits and veggies! A great daytime activity! Tag us in your pics when you go! Happy Picking!!
